So, today was the day that we (meaning us med4s across the country) found out if we matched or not--we didn't find out where, just if we matched or not.
Indeed, I have matched! I do not have to scramble, which is awesome. Now the suspense and waiting begin (or continue?) as to where I shall be come July....

Congrats Casey! I'm very glad to hear you matched! I'm not completely sure what "matching" is, but I think it may have something to do with where you're going to spend the next five or so years of your life. Am I correct? Also, I feel just as anxious to find out where you're going to be as you are! With your blog entries and your Facebook statuses, I feel your suspense!
Heehee, you are correct--the match is when the rank lists of the programs and the rank lists of the applicants are "matched" up and that will tell me where I'm going for my residency. I'm looking at atleast 5 years, could be 7 or more for general surgery....yikes, that's a lot of schooling....
